Delivering 100% Compliant Documents to Housing Association Clients.
"TCW software has helped streamline our quality assurance process, making it more efficient and meticulously accurate. Any issues that are identified during the sign off process can be reported and resolved rapidly."
ECS, specialise in high-volume electrical testing in the social housing sector, producing over 25,000 EICRs each year through ECMS, our own bespoke software platform. We are highly committed to continually improving electrical standards and awareness within the industry, making tenants safe in their homes.
Our qualified, experienced electrical engineers carry a tablet that enables them to manage and deliver every stage of an electrical inspection, remedial work and installation from beginning to end, resulting in the creation of the relevant certificate, be it EICR, EIC or minor works.
Until recently, all certificates were passed directly to our QS team for checking and validation. A QS would check and master every certificate, ready for the client to download.
Introducing External, Independent Validation
In June 2019, we added another layer of external, independent validation to our verification process by fully integrating The Compliance Workbook (TCW) software with our own bespoke software system (ECMS).
Engineers now upload their draft certificates, they are checked by TCW software, which highlights any findings so that our QS’s can quickly identify any issues.
TCW software is widely used by Housing Associations to check and validate certificates that are supplied by electrical contractors.
Today, we can guarantee that all certificates from ECS will be passed through the client’s TCW software a second time without any issues, adding further value and assurance.
How?
Using an API, the raw draft certificates uploaded from our engineers in the field are inputted into TCW for data checking. The QS can then bring up TCW’s findings allowing them to quickly pinpoint any issues.
TCW software has helped streamline our quality assurance process, making it more efficient and meticulously accurate. Any issues that are identified during the sign off process can be reported and resolved rapidly.
We are proud to be able to support our social housing clients by bringing together compliance and technology to deliver 100% compliance.
