We are well aware of the need for clients to manage their budgets and assets as cost effectively as possible and we work very closely with them to achieve this.
We work with our clients to ensure that they manage their electrical installations in the most cost effective and economic way by aiming to extend the remaining economic life of their electrical installations as far as possible whilst ensuring their continued safe operation.
Providing Quality Testing & Inspection Services
ECS has a number of key quality assurance systems, processes and procedures that ensure quality is embedded throughout our fixed wiring testing & inspection processes which are summarised below:
- Staff – The starting point of our quality assurance process is staff recruitment i.e. making sure we have the right people in place who are experienced, suitably qualified, highly competent and just as importantly have a positive attitude and a flexible customer focussed approach.
- Health & Safety – We are Safe Contractor and CHAS approved and have all the necessary safe systems of work in place to ensure projects are completed safely.
- Code of Conduct – We have our own code of conduct which all ECS staff must adhere to.
- Inspection data – Engineers receive and complete their jobs electronically via tablets and have to follow a bespoke pre-set test process which includes access, inspection, repair, and customer satisfaction recording protocols.
Monitoring accuracy of test results
An experienced Contract Manager will be dedicated to overseeing all aspects of daily operational management and supervision. They will ensure the accuracy of test results and complete internal audits on completed inspections.
- Inspection data validation – This is achieved through robust data collection, validation & auditing processes.
- Calibration of test equipment – All electrical test meters are inspected & checked frequently & externally calibrated.
- Management information reporting & monitoring – ECS can capture and store a considerable amount of electronic data and information that can be used for performance management and KPI reporting which our customers have access to via a web based portal.

“ECS (Electrical Compliance and Safety) Ltd regularly carry out all of the electrical testing, installations and repairs at Oakley Vale Primary School. We have confidence and assurance in the electrical safety testing and compliance work they do throughout the school, ensuring our children, staff and buildings are kept safe. ECS’s experienced engineers arrive at the school with a full DBS check and have already been given internal safeguarding training (at ECS) before they begin work. ECS make it easy for us to adhere to current legislation and to be compliant. They fully understand the need for all work to be carried out whilst the school is closed and carry out all electrical work to a very high standard, within a certain time frame. We would not hesitate in recommending ECS to other schools and trusts.”
